Biographies
Ronald Strathman – Owner, Safety Consultant, Instructor
Mr. Strathman has over 25 years experience in construction and manufacturing businesses in San Diego and on the East Coast. He has founded and operated several companies where he focused on general construction, renovation of historical buildings, and commercial and residential roofing.
He has implemented over 500 Illness and Injury Prevention and Drug Free Workplace Programs for businesses in San Diego County. Areas of focus have been compliance with Cal/OSHA and Federal Workplace Safety Codes, citation appeals, safety training at the management and employee levels, jobsite safety surveys, subcontractor safety management for General Contractors and other safety services.
Mr. Strathman is the Safety Chair for ASA (American Subcontractors Association) and writes a monthly safety column in Contractor’s News and Views, a regional construction industry publication.
R. James Strathman – Safety Consultant, Instructor
R. James Strathman has over 20 years of construction experience in the residential, commercial and film industries in San Diego and Los Angeles.
He currently currently manages the safety programs for all of the Quantum Risk Management clients. Areas of focus have been compliance with Cal/OSHA and Federal Workplace Safety Codes, citation appeals, safety training at the management and employee levels, jobsite safety surveys, subcontractor safety management for General Contractors and other safety services.
Mr. Strathman has received extensive safety training at the OSHA Institute UCSD and pursuing a degree in Environmental Health and Safety. He is qualified instructor in the OSHA 10hr, OSHA 30hr, fall protection, excavation and trenching as well as being certified train the trainer for forklifts.
Daniel McLorn – Safety Consultant Daniel has 15 years experience in the construction industry, has been trained in Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response and is pursuing a degree in Environmental Health and Safety. He conducts all of Quantum Risk Managements safety oversight in the field and written reports. |
